Introducing: Sami Reguig, Head of Finance

Tell us a little bit about what you do here at Orderfox:

What is a typical day at Orderfox like for you?

There is no typical day at Orderfox, that is why that job is so exciting. Between managing our treasury, our budget and forecast and monthly report, I am also managing the HR/Recruitment activity and special projects. Discussion with Investors and board of directors are part of the role. Finance is not just crunching numbers but also building relationships. 

How long have you worked for Orderfox?

I started at Orderfox in March 2022. 

What’s your favourite part about working for Orderfox?

The people that have a very diverse background, the vision to change and digitalize the procurement process for the CNC industry and the monthly " Team Aperos" that are always quite popular. 

What challenges do you face and how do you deal with these?

My role faces many challenges, like making sure that Finance/Operation/HR run smoothly but also improving the value of the company by ensuring that our business plan and forecast are in line between the team capacity and the investors expectations. Another part of the challenge is taking part in commercial discussion like negotiating with suppliers and service providers. 

What makes working at Orderfox special for you?

Orderfox is special because it has the spirit of the startup and the maturity and experience of its management team, making the best of both worlds. 

If you could sum up the culture at Orderfox into 3 words what would they be?

Collaborative  - Performance - Adapting to change.

What are you looking forward to accomplishing at Orderfox?

Running a new fundraising campaign, helping to recruit senior team members and implementing new finance tools. 

What do you like to do in your spare time? What hobbies do you have?

Sport (Fitness, Yoga, Standup Paddle…) and travels, I did visit more than 70 countries.  

What’s your favourite movie?

“American Beauty”.

What’s your favourite food?
I love Japanese food.
